Another Sun-Soaked Season Fades Away

[mood: sadness] [eating: strawberry cheesecake ice cream]

As of right now, Nik is in first place. It seems he's doing well in all areas of his life.

Name Participations Participation Points Correct Guesses Fraction Percentage Total Points
Parth 1 1 0 0 out of 2 0 1
Greg 2 2 0 0 out of 2 0 2
Nik 1 1 1 1 out of 1 100 5

The Dashboard concert on Saturday night was the time of my life. If I had to cast a patronus on the spot, the show would be my memory. He played most of the songs I wanted him to play. He told us that it was one of his favorite concerts. And that he loved us. And that we sang really well. We practically started So Impossible for him, and Remember to Breathe was what he played instead of the good fight, which was what was scheduled. While I'm on subject, let me share with you the contents of my set list.

BEST (The Best Deceptions)
BRILLIANT (The Brilliant Dance)
AGAIN (Again I Go Unnoticed)
DON'T WAIT (Don't Wait)
SWISS (The Swiss Army Romance)
***CARRY*** (Carry This Picture)
FOR U 2 NOTICE (For You to Notice)
SO IMPOSSIBLE (So Impossible)
THIEVES (Thick As Thieves)
SCREAM (Screaming Infidelities)
DUSK (Dusk and Summer)
EL SCORCHO (El Scorcho)
VINDICATED (Vindicated)
STOLEN (Stolen)

------------------------------- (Encore)
GOOD FIGHT (this is wrong. he actually played Remember to Breathe)
HANDS (Hands Down)

After the concert, a roadie gave out like three set lists. I went up to a white girl who got one. I offered her two two dollar bills and ten pesos. It went something like this: "I'll give you two two dollar bills and ten pesos Filipino currency for that!" So I got a set list for $4.05. Then I saw Tina and Jashlyn. And of course, I got t-shirts. Further detail into how personally moving the concert was might make you think that I just might be a woman.

Not really much else worth mentioning immediately. Developments not fruitful yet. Stuff like that.

I do want to create an aside dedicated to Parth in iambic pentameter.

Ode to Parth
How you have grown since you were just a prick
Now dancing with girls in a manner slick
Receiving digits in your cell phone's frame
When none of them can you match to a name
And now you mellow out just like us all
Some parts of you will certainly now fall
But for the rest I see you're growing tall
The future full of promises doth call.

The Bathroom is a Magical Place

[mood: Inspired] [thinking about: Bathrooms.]

The bathroom is a magical place.
Toilets flush and water flows,
A massage comes from a head on the wall,
Lights sync with fans,
Space heaters rotate on their own,
And mirrors give us twins for company.

If you had never seen these things
Wouldn't you think
The bathroom is a magical place?
