Not-so-new-updates
[mood: AGH] [doing: math]
In an effort to keep the blog alive during the school days, I decided that I show something I made a bit before I made that "Imagination" piece.
OH MY.
I attempted to create something from Illustrator. Some abstract deformity that somewhat resembles a familiar form. A Rabbit? I guess. Dead? Probably. But nevertheless, I made this quickly because I wanted to test out some textures with the added vibrant and possibly blinding colors. Enjoy.
I also mentioned that I would also showcase Krista's deviantart account, if she doesn't mind. And I'm sure she doesn't. So here it is.
Taken from Krista's description on DA:
"Within each color lies the psychological potential to influence our mood; however, perhaps the most magnificent characteristic of color how it forms everything we see. We are color and we make color. We breath color and we forget color.
Color is a great tool that allows us to distinguish between objects and it is a great tool for memorization. There's something about certain colors that each of us can identify ourselves with- in fact, there is a certain theory that each person has a faint aurora of color that can be seen in bright light against a white background.
What color is your soul?"
You can see the individual pieces of the quilt in greater clarity by clicking the link I gave above and reading the rest of Krista's description. I enjoyed seeing the individual pieces and seeing it as a whole. It was really well thought out and visually appealing. You really put in immense amounts of effort to fulfill the concept. Great work, Krista.
