[mood: v] [listening to: gavin rossdale]

You just want to go and hide.

Apologies for the lack of updates. In terms of a bad metaphor, my life is like carrying 3 liters of soda in a 2 liter bottle.

That was actually really bad.

I'm going to update about my fishtank later. It's up! But no fish yet...

  • [IMAGE] Hungry - If this picture weren't so cute, I'd take this opportunity to make a bad IB Music joke.

  • [VIDEO] New Harry Potter Trailer - It looks amazing. The scene where Dumbledore and Harry are looking for the Horcrux seems like its going to be as epic as it was in the book.

  • [VIDEO] Don't mess with this guy - You won't make it out alive.

[mood: alright] [listening to: mraz]

Finally, I had some time to make some stuff. I haven't in a while, so I'm glad for the what little time I had. I also forgot that I had some I haven't uploaded to deviantART yet, so I got those in too.

This was the gift I gave Heidi for her birthday. I wasn't trying to hint at anything, if you were wondering.

Ew, Monstarz.

Obligatory

[mood: Tired] [listening to: t-pain]

So I guess Obama wins. Nice.
Now let's hope we'll start seeing less of this. I don't care too much about those bigger businesses, but in the end their problems affect our wallets, so let's see some improvements, k?
Although, if this is true then it's all good, because I'm set.

Also, the government says "We can see you."

A bit late for this, but it's still amusing.

Also, a quote for the ages: "I thought I had a third nipple once, but it ended up just being a zit."

Concerning the survival of AP Latin Literature in America's schools and the future of Latin education.

[mood: :\ - :)] [listening to: The Magic Numbers]

To AP College Board course directors

As a dedicated Latin student of 7 years, I believe it is in the best interest of all future Latin students to be offered the opportunity to take the AP Latin Literature course and test in addition to the AP Latin Vergil course. From an educational standpoint, having both courses available offers students a wide selection of classical Latin authors to read and study. With this, students can become more familiar with great Latin literature outside of Vergil's Aeneid. This gives Latin students and future classical scholars the opportunity to experience a broad spectrum of the art mastered by these timeless poets and writers. Having students learn about writers like Catullus, Ovid, and Horace also makes the course more appealing by having a variety of styles to learn about. In addition to the variety having two AP Latin courses offers students, it is also essential as proof of a students dedication to his Latin education. Having two AP courses available to Latin students rewards their their long-time study by giving them more AP classes to test for and add to their college resumes. AP courses hold weighted credit in many schools, and this weighted credit gives students an always-welcome boost to their GPA. In light of this information, I hope that the AP board will reconsider its decision to rescind the AP Latin Literature course and all of its benefits for future Latin students.

I was afraid M[r]s. Farmer would think that my letter was too sarcastic. Is it? Well I did let some sarcasm slip through, but I tried to hold it back as I neared the end. What do you think?

Oops. Just realized I forgot a comma.
And an apostrophe.
Damn.
Lesson: Major constructive arguments should not be written in under 10 minutes.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

[mood: alright, i guess, full] [doing: SAT practice tests]

Turkey Day. So we all call it now. Woke up at a little after 10, which was earlier than I expected. Maybe because I went to sleep early yesterday. Maybe not. Maybe because I also took a nap yesterday. Maybe not. Jeff, Eric, and I went out to see Dan in Real Life yesterday, the new Carrell movie. There are some pretty wild twists in the movie and overall it left a good impression. It preys on the emotion of love and creates awkward situations that make you squirmy inside. Yet still manages to be humorous. Not really laugh-out-loud humor, but still worthy of a chuckle. Although there was one moment where I busted out laughing really loud and seemed to be pretty much the only one laughing. If you got some spare time, definitely give the movie a go. If you don't, I wouldn't say its worth making the spare time for, unlike, say, an episode of Lost. Score: 6/10

Somehow at Brittany's party last week, I accidently ended up with Easha's copy of Madden NFL 2007 for the Wii. Its an okay game, despite its tacked-on Wii controls and mediocre graphics. I'd rather not waggle my arms like a jackass to break a tackle or juke. I'd rather just tap a button. Other than that, the gameplay aspects are alright, they're pretty standard for a football game. However, it still is rather annoying to play a game made for a previous NFL season. Why isn't Tony Romo starting QB? Why is Randy Moss still with the Raiders? Still, its a nice distraction. I've been wanting to play a game for a while. Score: 5/10

  • [IMAGE] Global warming is a lie - Finally, substantial and empirical proof that global warming has all been a hoax.

  • [VIDEO] This is what cats do - When we're not around. Marvelously recorded, dubbed, and executed. This kind of makes me want kittens.

  • [VIDEO + CRY] Tragic Animal Crossing Story - Don't get turned off by the pissing unicorn or the fact that this is on YTMND. This has arguably got to be one of the saddest things online. Just wait for it to load and watch. I won't spoil anything. I got a little bit choked up during this. So you probably will too. Reminiscent sort of of the Thai Life commercials.

Made up a new character. This is just a prototype, so who knows if this will stay or go. I might modify it, but this is what I got so far.

Wait...What!? There's a Beatles' song reference here? No way.

Went a little simplistic and really wanted to focus more on the lyrics itself.

You think you lost your love,
Well, I saw her yesterday.
It's you she's thinking of
And she told me what to say.
She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad.
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad.

I think I need to find a muse of my own. I wanna make something real big, yet I have nothing to work with.

Made these as a pair. It's suppose to express uncertainty, yet assertiveness in the words' meaning. I wanted to potray something on the lines of "There is always uncertainty when speaking these words. You always need caution whenever you say them." Yeah something like that. Enjoy, nonetheless.

Home!

[mood: alright, i guess] [listening to: tmbg]

So I flew back late last night, landed at around 1130 and got home at around 1230. Proceeded to work on Writer's Notebook for a few hours. But enough about that.

ThinkQuest Live was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had. The new people I met, the learning experiences, the CITY, everything. Hopefully there'll be a few new faces on this site now because of TQLive. Missing 4 days of school kinda does suck, though.

When I was there, I visited the Berkeley campus with some of the free time we had. What can I say? RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE. I think I'm in love with that place. Good thing about the UC system? They calculate their GPA from 10th grade on. So I have a straight up 3.9.

It's been a long time since I've done one of these and I think the aftershock from TQ is still lingering. Maybe I'll update more tomorrow or something.

Is it me or is this dark blue just kinda mellow and nice?

  • [ARTICLE] I thought paper would protect you - Oldie but still a goodie.

  • [ARTICLE] Real Geek Heart Beats in xkcd's Stick Figures - Excellent article discussing xkcd, a wonderful online comic. Not only are a lot of the references pretty mathy and nerdy, but the site's reflections about love and relationships are so true as well. I've pretty much been hooked for a while. I'd recommend it to you guys as well. And for the math folks out there, indexed is a pretty cool site as well with similar concepts.

  • [VIDEO] Harder Bodies Faster Stronger - Like the original choreography to Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, this version is very nicely done. And certainly, things are harder.

Ohh. And I don't know if this has been posted before. I like the one on the video with Bumblebee from Transformers.

[mood: okay-ish] [eating: two radioactive pills]

I'm sick. I took a night-time Tylenol last night and it was incredible. In the morning, it was as if my mind was at least a second lagging behind my eyes. So drowsy. I attempted a practice SAT test in this state; it actually didn't turn out that bad. I upped all of my scores from my last SAT by at least 20, with a 140 point improvement overall. Still shy of that 2000 mark, though.

I actually got less sleep during this four-day weekend than I thought I would have. Oh well though. I have piano lessons in a few hours and I haven't practiced. At least I have an excuse.

Have some time to waste? Watch some cartoons by Don Hertzfeldt. Great stuff. All hand drawn too, and done so well. I wasted quite a bit of time last night revisiting his cartoons. Rejected [a cartoon by the aforementioned Don Hertzfeldt, not the movie] is just hilarious in a crazy way.

What ever happened to:
Maroon 5?
Bloc Party?
Matasiyahu? [sp?]

I think Maroon 5 and Bloc Party have new albums coming out in '07, but no idea about the Jewish rapper.

Worn out places, worn out faces

[mood: schm':((((((ish] [listening to: madworld]

Hide my head. I wanna drown, my sorrow. No tomorrow. No tomorrow. And I find it kinda funny. I kind it kinda sad.

Yesterday night, I found my old wallet and stumbled upon an incredible amount of things I've collected from 2003 on. I've started the construction of a timeline for the items in there. A sort of chronological order of my life according to my wallet. I haven't finished it yet, I'm on May 18, 2005. It might be done by Wednesday, and I might put it up in the Marketplace - if I can figure out how thats going to work. But here's a little teaser to let you know what to expect:

September 26th, 2004 - A ticket for the 4:10pm Sunday showing of The Forgotten at theatre 9, at Lynnhaaven AMC. Sold at 3:55pm. This is 8th grade. Supposedly the year that we all "matured," since we were at the end of middle school. And the year before the 4 years that would be the "best time of our lives," as Keia used to say. I remember the Forgotten. The girl got whisked away like the crazies. Scary.

November 27th, 2004 - A ticket for the 11:40am Saturday showing of The Incredibles at theatre 6, at Lynnhaven AMC. Sold at 11:34am. Yay for cutting it close, huh? We sat a few rows from the front, I remember. And then I went out either that night or a few days later to the Cinema Cafe to watch it again, with my folks. I recall Eric had a similar conundrum with the Forgotten.

December 9th, 2004 - One "excuse blank" for early dismissal at 9:30 for "dental" reasons. The authorized signature is just a little scribble. Seriously. Its a turn and a line.
Imagine that kind of in-depth reflection... on 20+ items in my wallet. I can't count how many there are. I have 17 so far.

Its funny what kind of memories all these things bring back. Don't forget to think tuna, guys. It'll help you.

  • Upgrade your ipod nano to 200GB - A step-to-step guide on how. Very practical and easy. I got this from Eric, I believe.

  • Bullshit detention - I know theres an unspoken don't-cuss rule on the site, but really. I'm calling BS. "Although he was correct, Alex's actions show a blatant disregard for authority, and a complete lack of respect for his school. In the future, Alex would be better off simply accepting my teachings without resistance." Let me guess, Catholic school? So even though a higher authority is absolutely wrong in its actions, we should accept it and not resist? What kind of teaching is this? I'm not calling out the intelligence of the teacher, although its clear that there is some lacking - I'm calling out the ethics of the teacher. A good teacher, hell, a good intellectual, when challenged, will provide support and facts to support their view. This characteristics of intellectual people has recently been demonstrated in the bloober with our discussions on religion. This teacher is not an intellectual. How does someone show a "complete disrespect to his school" when he is right? What else has this teacher taught? Is the world still flat? Was Galileo a Communist? Although there is a high possibility of this being a hoax (dated 4/20) (1994), the concept of it is enough to have gotten me to ramble on about it.

  • Site statistics. Somehow, in English, we got to talking about site statistics and Parth asked me to share some of them. I've been meaning to for a while but I never thought any of you would bother to care. You probably still don't care, but at least now I know I was asked. These are broken down into two, first, daily visits. The red represents daily pageviews, and the blue line represents daily visits. The bolded ones are the average. When you go to the front page, a permalink, and the bloober, thats 3 pageviews and one visit. If you come back later in the day, it'll be another visit and however number of pageviews. The data starts on September 16 and ends yesterday. There's a period of no data because I was updating the template and forgot to add the stats code. And theres a huge spike after that probably because I was still testing whatever it was I was recoding the template for, most likely RSS feeds and latest comments.
The next one is broken down hourly. They're all in EST, I checked. This one kind of suprised me. Just a while ago when I checked these out, there were peaks at 8pm and 10pm. Now the 8pm peak is basically gone. There is a very nice progression into the explosion of visitors at 10pm. Don't pay attention to the lines, only the points. This would be better represented in a bar graph but hey, you can't be perfect. As you can see, there are some crazy mofos who come on at 5am and you can see the B4 spike on there - its the highest during school hours. I'm really scratching my head at the 9-11am plateau though. I can't explain who or what would be visiting during those hours.
Hope you guys enjoyed them. Tell me if the hours are accurate and when you usually visit.

    Wow. Longass daily.

[mood: schm':((((((ish] [listening to: lvb]

"We approach fire-drunk." I have no idea what fire-drunk is. But we approach it. Your shrine.

Went to piano for like 2hrs today. There were maybe 7 of us playing like 3 songs each. Crazyass long time.

  • Daily Double: Proxy sites - one and two. Need to use Yahoo mail during school? Need that report that just happens to mention "penis" 40 times with a DDR score of 320? Alien Hominid? Just use these. Bookmark them or memorize them. Actually, the first one is basically Jesus Saves glorified; thats where I got all those from. Jesus Saves has been debunked, so just use the second one. If you guys want to, I'll put the second site up on Jesus Saves too since its an easier URL to remember.

  • Collection of TV Show bloopers - As classic as pea-ness.

  • Freebie - I had some free time today so I scoured the web more than usual, so I'll just post something extra today. Lost in Translation. Pretty funny. I actually laughed out loud. Or, maybe not laugh, but chuckled a bit, at least.

  • And finally, OMFZG CHRISTMAS. Besides being the epitome of poor web design, this guy is awesome. He rigged up a webpage to control the Christmas decorations on his lawn... LIVE! You click "inflate," and Homer inflates. Turn on lights and turn them off. Send a message to be displayed on the laptop. Waste a good solid 10 minutes of your life. But. Its. So. Cool. Some times the guy is in the frame, now his kids are there, and his wife. Advertise this site too. Just type "theblacktop.com ftw" because they'll block URLs. Too bad when I sent that, one of his kids stepped in front of the screen. The site's got a good cause, too. His kids have Celiac Disease, and this is raising awareness of it and such.

| David |

[mood: schm':((((((ish] [listening to: paino/祥三]

Absolute value of David. What is it? I don't know. I really didn't have a title for this post so I just came up with something.

Added a little Tetris block today. This site really isn't about games, I've just been recently babbling on about them a lot.

I might be making some minor adjustments to the site in the coming days. Or, day. Monday's school. Again. Totally sucktastic. I forget what day it is. A? B? C? I miss C days. And basically everything there was to possibly like about Kemps Landing. Like how our entire seventh grade teachers roster has changed. I just want to go back. Forget everything, and just live that again.

So I watched The Puffy Chair (trailer) today. And I have to say, that has probably got to be one of my favorite films now. On the same level as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Maybe even better, because this is an indie film. You probably haven't heard of it because it is an indie film that is only distributed through Netflix. But I have my other ways...
Everything is great about the movie. The directing is handycam-type, and makes the movie seem low-budget at a professional quality. Professional low-budget handycam directing. Much like Saving Private Ryan, but less war and less shaky.
The basic premise of the film is that it is about a guy named Josh who bought a sofa on eBay (or, "eBuy") and is taking a long roadtrip to pick it up. The sofa has sentimental value because his dad owned one just like it when he was a kid, and he wanted to surprise his dad for his birthday with a new one. But it goes so much more deeper.
Thats what I like so much about it. The story starts off pretty straightforward but soon everything in Josh's life will be unwrapping itself. Josh starts off as a nice enough guy with just some romance troubles, but by the end of the movie, Josh is completely destroyed and a wreck. It is a story about humanness, relationships, emotion, and conflict. Everyone believes they are right and everyone else is wrong.
I highly recommend anyone with about 1hr and 20mins of spare time to watch this. Since its a bit hard to come by, if you want me to burn you a copy, just give me a shout in the comments.
In my other reviews, I have never given a 10. But damn. This deserves one. Score: 10/10

  • Digging that hole to China - Actually, kids here can't use that phrase anymore. From my house, I end up somewhere off the western coast of Australia. And all of Virginia does, too. In fact, there is not one place in America that if you dig a hole with your pail and shovel, you will end up in China. That whole hemisphere thing.

  • Pea-ness - ROFFLECOPTER. She said penis.

  • Pokemon Song - Now I know I had something saved for this last spot, always the best. And it probably wasn't this. But I can't think of anything else right now. I'll probably come up with it right after I post this. Oh well. This is still pretty funny. Who knew there was a freaking 2nd verse.

Hublog!!!

[mood: schm':(((((ishy] [listening to: lost]

What do you guys like better? theblacktop.com or hublog.net? I'm just doing some preliminary surveying. Changes are coming in January. Like they do every year.

Heidi's down deep in my blacktop.

I kind of want to redo the site again, aesthetically, at least. The backend is pretty solid, for now. I started a post-editing script today and if I'm good, that'll be done by Sunday. Its just that the site is starting to look kind of bland. I changed the name up a bit, and now, it actually looks a bit cluttered up there. What are some things you guys would like to see differently around the site?

  • Nintendo Kid Remix - No description.

  • Uncyclopedia - A smart little spoof on Wikipedia. It ridicules the fact that now facts can be made up by anyone... and be fact. "Well, if Wikipedia says it..." Well, now. What if Uncyclopedia says it? Plus, I've been trying to find a copy of Mavis Beacon Teaches Stereotyping everywhere.

  • Kiwi - I've kept this around for a while, never really knowing when I should post it. I don't really fully understand it, and the sound goes off sync after a while. Still, yay for student filmography. Call me a souless man, but I don't get the message behind it. Either way, its a good video about little people and big ambition. ...I think?

Un Sospiro

[mood: cold] [listening to: Liszt - Concert Étude No. 3 in D Flat Major "Un Sospiro", S. 144]

So I've been out for the past week or so because of this wiping thing. At least it's done now. I still have to reinstall office, trillian, and lastfm.

Convention. This will be hacked together because I didnt get it all down right after convention.

Dinner. Slash all eating in the cafeteria periods. Deeva helped me put my sheet on. She wore a towel. Then, if that wasn't bad enough, we see Dale walk in with a Mariott bag with armslots and a headslot. I think during lunch on Monday, yeah Monday, Anthony made a stupid joke, and his table clapped for him. Then, because of the nerdosity of convention, everyone else clapped for him. Then he came over to us and told us. So what does Corey do? He starts clapping too. Then Anthony leaves. But he came and sat with us when we didn't clap for him anymore.

There were smells. And upsetting phone noises that indicated text messages or calls. David, I'm afraid that you're right. But I didn't contest it in the first place, so;

What else. Oh. Midlo won for spirit. Ah, and Deeva running for VCJL First Vice President. Anthony's introductory speech first mentioned some of the campaign slogans: "Vote for Deeva because she's crazy," "Vote for Deeva if you don't want to be a loser like me," "Vote for Deeva if you want to be cool like me," "Vote for Deeva because we NeedHuh," and my personal favorite, "Vote for Deeva because she's a crazy mofo." We didn't use the last one; Deeva wouldn't let us. So then he introduced her, and he ended his speech with giving out his number. I'll discuss the terrible results of that situation later. So Deeva ran uncontested, so she won.

Sunday night. It's the 'go shack up in someone's room night.' At least until your roommates get back. So Dale and his girlfriend are in Dale's room, and Anthony walks in. He walks right back out and screams "She's on the bed." Earles and Wilkes don't do a very good job, apparently. Also, I was dragged down into the karaoke room. It was fine, until the four girls started asking me to sing with them. Which progressed into "let's take Matt's phone and not give it back to him until he sings" and "Next up: Matthew Veland. Is there a Matthew Veland in the house?" Yes, they did sign me up. And Don dang Titanic. The funny thing is, Anthony sang it last year. Except for fun. Heh, Don didn't ding or dang, she sang. Whoops.

I won sixth in geography and sixth in history. Which is what I was hoping for: placing in the categories that didn't involve the language. Oh, and second place in English Oratory. So Deeva and Anthony are writing theirs during the salvete assembly. I helped them both. Then they're signing up for it. Then it starts, and we wait. Then they convince me to sign up. So I write my thoughts down in five minutes or so. Then I get second place.

Anthony's phone number situation. I just realized that I can't disclose the full details because he may come across this. Just know that it didn't turn out too well for him.

That's Entertainment wasn't that good this year. At least not as good as last year. Don played Beauty and the Beast like she did during the orchestra concert. And two guys got kicked off the stage. Bottom line, I issued an executive order stating that I'd participate for these last two years. I haven't decided what I want to play. I was thinking about the fantaisie-impromptu, which is flashy enough for non-believers. But then I thought maybe a Liszt or Scriabin Étude. But probably the Chopin. We'll see. /convention

Speaking of which, I was browsing around for Youtube videos for Chopin and Liszt, and i stumbled onto Horowitz, which led to Scriabin and Scarlatti. Just so you know. Horowitz used to call Scriabin "Uncle who Play Loud." Because all those Russian composers lived with each other. I haven't really looked into Scarlatti except knowing that he was a Classical composer living in the Baroque era. Scriabin, however, was a heavy Romantic, part of the big five, and one of the atonal pioneers. He, along with Rimsky-Korsakov, presented the idea of certain keys perpetuating certain moods and therefore colors. Specifically, D is yellow, A Flat is pink, and C is red. You should look into it. The Wiki does a fair job explaining it.

Can't stop time. Can't erase. The past is a living part of the present. Random Augustine paraphrase: If we are constantly in the present, how did the past and how can the future ever happen? I don't quite remember that much more of the time paradox; I'll have to check up on it.

Ah. And JMU. Should be so intensely interesting. It's funny how those who condemned not two months ago now count on me to be the first. I don't want to think about it. But I'll have to. Uck. It's quite funny. I'm not entirely sure how the bedding situation is going to turn out. We'll see.

Generic "Turkey Day" Title

[mood: schm':((((((ish?] [listening to: ccr]

Turkey Day? Is that what the kids call it nowadays? Well thanks to "Turkey Day" I can now open my fridge and smell a mixture of duck anus and armpits. Fun.

So I went driving on the highway today and almost died. Yay for seatbelts. The car's not that bad - it'll be at most a $6000 repair the guy said. Just a door.

Actually not. I didn't wreck anything. Its actually not what its worked up to be. Before we left my dad was all saying "okay keep watch this that this that" and it really all just kinda comes naturally. Check before you turn, don't slip on the water, bla, whatever. There was this one time where I went up this one ramp and I didn't realize the ramp turned sharply to the right and I kinda almost went off the road but no damage. Go for me.

So I tried to get the $100 Xbox Amazon deal today. My dad and I totally coordinated everything. Two computers, one account, 4 web browsers. And what happens? They sell out within 7 seconds and the incredible server lag meant I didn't load the page til 7 minutes after the deal went live. sux2bme, eh?

  • Bee up reporter's skirt - Kinda self explanatory. NSFW-sorta. Those sick Japanese exploiting our American journalists.

  • A brief history of pop music - ... with only four chords. Its nice that they start out with a little tribute to Blink. Is this a testament on the flexibility and moldability of music? Or does this just say that all our pop music is repetitive and cliche?

  • Does a Wiimote blend? - I won't ruin it, but I'm very surprised at its durability. The first run yields a bit of a surprise.

So today is the day. Turkey day.

Thankful for a lot things.

But heck, I won't bore you with such things.

So this will be a short post, but since when did I write so much in Hublog anyways?

I'm not letting anything bad get to me today. That would ruin the Thanksgiving spirit...?

So. Thanks everyone. To great friends, family, and life.

Frightful

[mood: schm':((((((ish] [listening to: lvb]

Oh I'm so feuertruken.

Its German. Language of the Great.

I'm frightful of many things right now. Among them, I went back to play a piece today that I need to relearn and I barely know it. I used to know the thing by heart now I can't even play it looking. I'll just work on it all night, then. There's that, and then theres something else. But I'll just put on my happy mask tomorrow.

I was not kidding when I was talking about the Great Mogul. I'll give $1.83 $4 to whoever can tell me who the Great Mogul is. The two clues still are:

  • The Great Mogul wrestled with fate and death, but the Mogul's friend Art was always there and spared the Mogul's life.
  • The Great Mogul once upon a time wrote Bonaparte, which is now considered to be a work that defined an entire generation.
Guess in the bloober. And Matt's still disqualified cause he probably knows. And try to refrain from the immaturity in there. Just let Parth spank it while typing.

  • Get an Xbox 360 for $100 - Limited supplies from Amazon. 11am PST? Thats just 2am over here. I can stay up tomorrow night.

  • Kramer's now infamous racist tirade - Mel Gibson just breathed a sigh of relief. Watch as he loses it... its sad, really. My mouth was ajar half the time I was watching this. Can a mouth even be ajar? Its sad to watch such an icon fall into darkness.

  • And then... fall even deeper. The audience laughed on Kramer's apology on Letterman. To give them credit, the news had only broken a few hours ago and the audience most likely thought it was a bit. Still, its incredibly hard to watch him fall into shame.

Riddle Me This: The Great Mogul

[mood: the great mogul] [listening to: the great mogul]

Riddle me this.

Who is the Great Mogul? There are many great moguls out there, but only one Great Mogul. I will give $1.83 to the first person who can tell me in the comments who the Great Mogul is, and what the story behind the name is. Google your hearts out.

I will give you a little hint. Two, actually.

  • The Great Mogul wrestled with fate and death, but the Mogul's friend Art was always there and spared the Mogul's life.
  • The Great Mogul once upon a time wrote Bonaparte, which is now considered to be a work that defined an entire generation.

Matt probably knows what it is now because of the second clue, so he's disqualified. But its up for grabs for anyone else. Take as many guesses as you want. You'll never get it. Just try not to spam the comments.

And if you do get it, its valuable information that might do you good on Jeopardy one day. Instead of "hoe," you'll say "rake."

  • Wow, I was looking at my recent diggs, and then I noticed, David strikes again with a front page story. A lot of Mac vs. PC debate followed. Quick! If you go to digg's front page now, you might still be able to see my submission in the first two pages or so. I don't know why I get a sort of high from having stories promoted to the front page, but I do.

  • Classic - Possibly one of the best videos on the internets. Priceless.

  • Hows my parking? - A flash game designed to survey men and women drivers. Pick your gender, park, and then hope you... "do a good job" in representing your sex. Good luck. Men are in the lead now. Women, try to dissolve the stereotype.

Wiiftw

[mood: schm':((((ish?] [listening to: hal_128]

Okay, so it seems like Eric just had a Wiigasm earlier tonight, so he kinda got me to too. I invite Nik to join.

I wanted an excuse so bad to go out tonight to Best Buy and just chill with some of the campers that will inevitably be in line there, but I couldn't think of anything. It's out in a few minutes on this coast. Hell, I might even post this after its out, it depends on how long I make this thing.
IT PRINTS MONEY!!!11
Like Eric said, Zelda. Jesus. I haven't actually sat down and played a game in such a long time. What I would give to just sit down and freaking play Zelda. I got a little more than $300 and with supplies in stores (shocking for a release), its very hard for me to resist just going out and grabbing a console. 10/10 on 1up, 10/10 on Gamefreaks, 9.5/10 on IGN, 8.8/10 on GS, and the list goes on. All this is hypothetical, though. As if I have the time to actually play with my Wii. Obligatory penis joke for the night.

And I've just realized a ton of my recent diggs are Wii related... so whatever. Wiigasm on the dailies.

  • But actually, to tell a story of dumbassery first. With most PS3 auctions on eBay going well into thousands, this guy buys one for $10. Don't you wish you could be that lucky bastard. Apparently no one saw this auction or something. He lives in freaking Manteo, too. Dumbass.

  • Triforce - I totally forgot what a Triforce was. And then I remembered. Some MIT hackers put one on the dome at MIT. They've had R2-D2, the Wright Brother's plane, and now this.

  • Wii startup - Not really "super fast" as they claim, but still. Its a video of a Wii. Obligatory penis joke?

  • And then finally I end this pretty nerdy Wiigasm with the Zelda review from 1up. I've always liked their reviews; they aren't as long as most others yet they get straight to the point. I had not really bothered with actually thinking of getting a new system this year until I read this. I used to think, "oh sure, wii's out. i hope nik gets one and i'll just buy a controller to use at his house." But, I still don't think I would because I simply have no freaking time. I need to find some.

Where are the damn tissues?

[mood: =D] [listening to: itunes]

Over the four-day weekend, I like came in my pants at the thought of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess being released soon. Well I found out later that the gamecube version [which I resereved last year] comes out in like December, as opposed to the 19th [1.5 hrs left till then], the release date of the Wii. This caused me to uncome in my pants a bit. However. Just. One. More. Month. Well anyways. The Wii comes out soon over here on the east coast [1hr 32min from now]. Pretty cool.

About the Wii. and the Wii store. What's really kick ass about it is...

The points are valued at a cent per, so 1,000 Wii points will set you back $10 US. Which is also what N64 games cost; SNES games will run $8, while NES and Genesis games run $5. via engadget
Well the thought of having to rebuy some games just to play them on the Wii is kind of gay. Well, I probably won't rebuy games, since I have some precious save files on my N64 cartridges. Just too bad that the N64 cords are messed up, so it doesn't really work :(. Well anyways the games are pretty cheap I guess. Of course, not really as cheap as buying them used at Gamestop or something for a dollar. However, then you have to actually own an SNES/NES/Genesis [which don't cost much either nowadays] and blow cartridges. Either way. Whatever floats your boat.

Well after I finished coming in my pants again, I discovered that the Optimus 103 keyboard pre-orders start on December 12. Kick ass.
Optimus 103 keyboard

Well. I am currently out of tissues. Good thing I haven't found out anything else extremely pleasing to the senses.

Well PS3 is out. Not like you are going to be able to get one now for less than a couple thousand bucks. Also, there was some crime involved with the PS3. Kinda like the Xbox 360. Just I think it was worse. Then I think there was just more general violence. ie fights and stampedes. Well, does anyone know what's up with the PSP game download service? Wasn't that planned to be released simultaneously with the PS3? Did it come out? Did it not? Fill me in.

And how does it affect society?

[mood: schm':(((((ish?] [listening to: moz]

Well, what if I don't want to affect society? What if I just want to demonstrate personal abilities and skills required to produce and present an extended piece of work; engage in personal inquiry, action, and reflection on specific topics and issues; focus on and demonstrate understanding of AOIs; and reflect on learning and share knowledge, views, and opinions? Because thats all our packet says. No where in the Personal Project Manifesto does it say that we need to affect society. No where does it say that it needs to even be important to society. What if I want to be an isolationist?

Just had to say this. I might post again later tonight.

I don't know why I set it to that. I'll probably change it later. I want to turn it off as soon as it sounds. Whatever. I don't know why I'm telling you guys this.

Well visits per day from you people seem to be at 30/day which isn't that bad, its about the same as before or always or whatever. Its actually been going up since Parth and Greg and them started. I've considered adding another author recently... but I'll talk to the person about this later and let you guys know. This was just wild speculation from me from a while ago.

Going to California?

There is a possibility of me going to California. The land of the governator. My mom was talking about the possibility of sending my cousin and me to California for our Junior and Senior years of high school, and then college. There are various reasons for this. I kind of want to go, but I would be leaving all of you guys behind. Well it probably will not end up happening, because I am pretty sure my dad will be against it.

I guess thats the "personal" part of it

[mood: schm':(((((ish?] [listening to: lost]

Has that suddenly become our new phrase? "I guess thats the 'personal' part of it." Everyday in English, that sentence is uttered by at least two people talking about the MYPPP. Well, isn't it called the Personal Project? Of course there is going to be a freaking personal part. Its personal when someone doesn't have a religion, its personal when someone is talking about Orwellian theory.

So, by next February. I need to have prepared:
1 Schubert Impromptu Op. 90 No. 4
1 Beethoven Sonata Op. 79 (Presto alla tedesca)
1 Mozart Sonata K. 497 for Four Hands
1 Passapeid from some Russian Impressionist for Four Hands
1 Mozart Concerto No. 26 K. 537 (Larghetto)

Pour all into bowl and stir thoroughly with a beater. Your delicious stress should be ready.

I started this entry about two hours ago. I think I had more to say, but, just dailies for now. As always, best for last.

Oh, comments should be straight. There is still spam. Are you human?

  • Well, you know what they say. Once you go Mac, you'll never go back.

  • Celebrity Mugshots - Ever wanted to see Bill Gate's mugshot? How about Larry King's? Tupac? Tokyo Rose? You got them.

  • Bookmark this. How to write a resume. You'll need this one day. A very comprehensive guide. Now I'm tired. No more dailies for today.

After the jump

[mood: schm':(((((ish] [listening to: mozart]

I found some time to update today, after finishing PP and stuff. If you haven't taken a listen to my Baroquesque song, I recommend you take a gander and tell me what you think.

Comments are back up! So you really can tell me what you think.

There is a lame little check to make sure a human is submitting it, but deal with it for now. It'll reduce spam. I'm working on a system to save your human status as a cookie and then you'll only have to enter in the math once a month or something. I can do that in five minutes, but, hey, I'm lazy. If you guys are annoyed enough or if comments go down severely, I might be forced into action.

Yes, Eric, the Mario thing is new. Change is good? I might add some Tetris blocks up top. Not inspired at all by Heidi's room.

I've been transfixed by classical music lately, barely listening to anything else. K.V. 499 ftw, k?

  • How about a little life-lesson diagram to start of the dailies today. Pretty funny, the stuff on indexed. Dailies are becoming a sort of art for me now. Small insignificant stuff climaxing to a large ending. I might mix it up and do a chiasmus one day. Or framing.

  • What is the answer to life, universe, and everything? Google knows. And the answer is 42. Its nice to know that the people behind Google aren't just robots and have a little sense of humor once in a while.

  • Outrage! - Another example of why the current TSA kinda sorta, sucks. A guy was arrested and thrown in jail on account of having a large rubber band ball believed to be concealing a metal or explosive of some sort. After failing screening, the guy even offered to give up the ball and not take it on the plane. No, no. The TSA just had to arrest him. Outrage.

One Shot.

[mood: :\] [listening to: NFG]

If you had one shot to seize everything you ever wanted, would you capture it or just let it slip? Would you throw away all other worries? Would you think only of the now, the moment you have to seize it all, and think only of what you want? Would you do it against what others think? Would you do it even if you knew it was wrong? Would you throw away the cares of possible repercussions? Would you regret it after you've captured your prize? Or would you regret letting the opportunity slip?

Too late. You missed it.
You think too much.

I can't seem to figure out what I ever really want. Do I want the strawberry or vanilla flavored ice cream? I am afraid of regretting either choice. Sometimes I just end up not choosing either. However, I soon end up to regret it. It's just that you never really know things until you try right? I tell myself that a lot, but it just never seems to get through. I think too much sometimes, which usually leads to negative thoughts about my choices. Which then makes me choose neither. I need to take more risks.

Well. Just something that was on my mind.

New Music Sunday: Baroquesque

[mood: schm':(((((ish?] [listening to: beethoven/baroquesque]

Well, I finished up the Baroque portion of my PP yesterday and "perfected" it a bit today. Still a few parts I'm dissatisfied about. Am I going to call it Fuga e sostenuto? Fuga di molto e wtf? I don't know. I'll figure it out.

I was going to go through a long story about what a pain in the ass it was to get this good of a quality of sound... but I'm not. Its pretty high quality though. Tell me what you think.

In the bloober.

Comments'll be back up tomorrow.

I promise.

I hope.

If I have enough time.

That Subway Feeling

[mood: :\] [listening to: Three Days Grace, Incubus, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus]

Have you just ever got this feeling, like you are just riding in the car of a subway train. Where is it headed? No one knows. Does it even have an end?

Outside of the subway train is nothingness. Just darkness. A void with no time, no space. You sit there on the train, with the occasional passenger coming and going. Every once in a while someone gets on. Every once in a while someone gets off. The passengers slip in and out of the dark. The nothingness. The unknown.

You ride on.

No? Don't get that feeling? Don't get what I'm saying?
Hm. Maybe it's just me.

Total Abortions since 1973

Chapter: 3.15
(Section 3: Why can't we be Friends?)
Copyright © Michael Bronson 1997, 1999, and 2000
BibleHelp.org

1 out of every 67 deaths in the WORLD is an American abortion*1

1 out of every 4 deaths in America is an American Abortion*2

Half of the deaths in the world are from abortions*3

Abortion is the leading cause of death in the world. It kills as many people as ALL of the other causes of death combined.*4

We have lost more Americans through abortions (64 times more) than we did in all of our wars (12 wars) combined*5

The world kills more people through abortion than all of the deaths in the America combined (22 times as many)*6

The D-Day invasion of France (WWII) was the bloodiest in history. There were 53,714 allied soldiers killed in the "Battle of Normandy." Yet, our world kills more people than that in just 9 hours through abortions.*7

America has lost 589 soldiers in its first year of fighting in the Iraq War. The world, however, kills more people than that in just 6 minutes through abortions.*8

Footnotes
1. About 56 million people (worldwide) will die this year. These statistics, however, do not include the number of American Abortions. Since there will be around 850,000 American abortions this years, this put the total deaths at 56.8 million. This means that one out of every 67 deaths (850,000 / 56,850,000 *100 = 1.49%, which equals 1 out of 66.9)will be from the American abortions.
(Source: http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/index.html )
2. America's population is around 290 million. The death rate in America is .834%. This means that 2.45 million Americans will die this year (290 million x .00834 = 2,447,600). These deaths, of course, do not include American abortions. Therefore, the total deaths in American will be 3.3 million. This means that one out of every 4 deaths in America will be from American abortions (850,000 / 3.3 million = 25.78%, which is 1 out of 3.88).
(source: http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/us.htm)
3. About 56 million people (worldwide) will die this year. These statistics, however, do not include the number of American abortions. There are about 53 million abortions performed every year in the world. That means that half of the world's deaths are from abortions.
(Source: United Nations Population Fund http://www.unfpa.org.)
4. If you add up all of the others deaths in the world, it almost equals the number of deaths from abortions.
5. In the past 12 American wars, we lost 651,543 American soldiers. Yet, in the past 30 years, we have lost over 41 million Americans to abortions. That means we lost 64 times more Americans through abortion than we have in all of our wars combined (41,704,000 / 651,543 = 64).
(Source: Time Almanac 2002)
6. There are (on average) 2,447,600 deaths a year in America. There are about 53 million abortions in the world every years. Therefore the deaths from abortions are 22 times the deaths in America (53,000,000 / 2,447,600 = 21.65). Actually, many sources say there are 55 million abortions a year and other sources put the numbers as high as 60 million. However, to stay on the conservative side, I chose to use the smaller number of 53 million.

7. There are, on average, 1.68 abortions performed every second in the world. Therefore, it would take 8.9 hours to accumulate 53,714 deaths (53,714 / 1.68 / 60 seconds / 60 minutes = 8.88 hours).
(Source: http://www.ddaymuseum.co.uk/faq.htm )
8. There are, on average, 1.68 abortions performed every second in the world. Therefore, it would take 5.84 minutes to accumulate 589 deaths (589 / 1.68 / 60 seconds = 5.84 minutes).

Fuga e wtf, WTCIII

[mood: schm':(((((((ish, i think?] [listening to: bachs]

Maybe I'm oblivious because I play the piano and enjoy it more than the strings, but I realized just today that I should have been studying Vivaldi instead of Bach to write my quartet. But you know, oh well. Fuga e wtf, fuga e wtf.

Went to the mall to watch Will Ferrell's new movie yesterday. It sucked. But, what difference does it make, right? Right?

Theory class for me today was actually more fun than usual. For one, we analyzed a Chopin piece and it took us forever. Why? Cause his music doesn't make sense. I still stand by my axiom: Romantic music is a bunch of notes strewn together that sound good in its particular order. Okay well thats a bit long. But you get it. 9th chords and VI7-ii chords. Fun. A VI-ii sequence is actually serves as a V-i sequence, just in the key of the supertonic. And the ii serves as an appoggiatura for the tonic. My teacher told me that and I was like "whoa it makes sense." It may not sound like much but when people like Matt or I read about VI-ii = V-i, we wet ourselves. Or maybe thats just me. Huh.

I finished up the Baroque portion of my PPgay today, I'm going to edit it before I turn in the final and talk to my mentor about it. I might post it tomorrow as a New Music Sunday. We need more of those. Now I got to write a string quartet in classical style in... oh, 24hrs. About. Wish me luck. Oh wait, you can't. Cause.

The comments are still down! Celebrate. Good times. Come on. Look for a nod in the bloober for when they're back up.

  • Fainting goats - This is probably old to a bunch of you; I know it was old to me when I saw it, but still. Its a good laugh.

  • Guidelines for a platonic relationship - A gift from me to you. This kind of stuff should be in a bible or something.

  • Prodigy. - Or something like that. Its nice to hear your favorite songs butchered by people who can't play. Or in this case, that person is forgiven. You're seeing Michael as a kid or something, I swear.

Is anything for the win anymore? Really?

Comments temporarily down

[mood: -] [listening to: -]

Comments are going to be down for today and maybe the weekend until I can figure out a good CAPTCHA-like method to use to deter the spam bots.

Blame me for coding an unsecure site, but, hey.

I'll figure this out, guys. For now, use the bloober for any discussion you may want to have. There have only been a few shemale spams there which you can ignore and I can delete with relative ease. I need to figure out a CAPTCHA for that too.

I'll update about my crap life later.

This is just a PSA for the site.

Love

[mood: fine] [listening to: heep hoop?]

It's a funny little thing.

You can love someone so much that you'll ignore them in order to stop a little thing called rejection and a lost of a friendship.

It's amazing how such a little thing called love can turn someone into a romantic person; yet, it can immediately turn you into something you hated the most--to despise that the person you loved.

I wonder why people search for years and years to find that little thing called love, while the thought of rejection and hate still lingers. Maybe people think that the happieness from love is a good enough reason to risk everything. To be with that person. To hold that person close.

Rejection. It happens to all of us. We are the victims of love's evil game. How can something so sweet be a source of anger and hopelessness. Where can we turn after that? How can we live without that one person?

That person you devoted your whole self to. Only to recieve a kick in the ass. Only to be left with the scraps. Where we do we go from there?

It's interesting to hear what people go through these days. Life is just great sometimes.

Yeah. I needed to vent somewhere. Haven't really done that in a while. So thanks for your time. Thanks a lot.

David and Jeffery go to get Street Fighter

[mood: schm':((((((...?] [listening to: bach]

Okay. So, story time. I had nothing to do today so I wrote about maybe 3/4 of the Baroque portion of my personal project (i'm not really satisfied with it, but i'm not dissatisfied like i usually am) and then Jeff came over. And I totally kicked his ass at Tekken 3. He brought Mortal Kombat, one of the cheapest and suckiest games ever. We still played. I lost. But then, I had this sudden urge to play Street Fighter. So.

First we walked to Blockbuster, no PS1 games. Then, we walked across the street to Kroger. They don't even sell games. We stumbled on this pawn shop that I never knew was there in the same plaza and we looked. No Street Fighter. So we decided to go all the way to the next rental place, maybe 3/4 of a mile down. It didn't seem like 3/4 of a mile. Seemed like 20 minutes. We walked on Kempsville for a good while until we got to the rental place. NO PS1 GAMES.

We were pretty damn tired. But K-mart was about 5mins away so we went there. I was going to scream if they didn't sell PS1 games. Did I mention I don't have a PS2 or whatever the kids have these days? Just checking.

So we got to K-mart and what do you know, they don't have them. So I went to the talking fish section of the store and pressed all the buttons and let the symphony of talking bass fish ring. I think the store people got pissed off.

We decided to screw it and just get smoothies instead. So we did. This was about one and a half hours into our little adventure. So we decided to turn back. One hell of a walk back, I must mention, though. We took a wrong turn based on Jeffery's suckass advice. I thought it was the next road ahead, but apparently, "they're both the same." Same my ass.

We ended up getting lost and had to call Shirui to bail us out. Jesus. He's a lifesaver. Can't wait til I freaking drive.

Throughout this ordeal, moral support from Heidi and Eric were at the minimum sucktacular. Thanks a lot. We counted on you. :>.

So we just went home and I downloaded a SFII ROM for SNES. Not bad. I still got a craving, though.

  • YES, I BELIEVE. The Flying Spaghetti Monster was recently sighted in Germany. If this isn't undeniable truth that He exists, I don't know what is. Unlike the second coming of Jesus, the FSM lives. RAmen for life.

  • Uh oh. Looks like another religious night. What is the atheist's worst nightmare? A banana. This evidence is so compelling. This can really make a non-believe believe. For believers, this is just needless reaffirmation.
Actually, speaking of atheism, I went out to the store today to look at The God Delusion, and it was exactly what I feared. A non-religious man touting non-religion religiously. The ultimate paradox. If you're not religious, stay that way and don't preach non-religion to me. k plx thxn.

  • BREAKING NEWS: Resounding Victories In All States, Counties, Cities, Towns - WASHINGTON, DC—After months of aggressive campaigning and with nearly 99 percent of ballots counted, politicians were the big winners in Tuesday's midterm election, taking all 435 seats in the House of Representatives, retaining a majority with 100 out of 100 seats in the Senate, and pushing political candidates to victory in each of the 36 gubernatorial races up for grabs.

2/3. Not bad. But on a broader scale, we lost Congress. It's quite the opposite of 1994. And at least we won all the referendums except South Dakota...But losing that is unfortunate.

Is this what we need? Are we ready for a Pelosi/Dean House? Are we ready? I guess we're going to have to be. And will the Democrats be able to keep this momentum of media slant going until they can elect Hilary in 2008?

If Hilary wins, at least i can be the dissenter. I'm already the rebel, but I'd like to be the GOP hater. We'll see. I'm a rebel either way.

Government should be fun tomorrow.

I kinda skipped CCD today. They said they didn't need us for judging the finals, so...

This is the only thing that's got me down, so it's ok.

Fuuuuuuck, I've got art history homework. And math homework. But, I choose not to do the MYP stuff. I'm turning it in Monday just to piss them off.

But really, besides this election thing, I'm pretty well. I just have to get past tomorrow. Both the day and debate after school. And then Thursday.

Mind you, the French Revolution was a revolution too.

I haven't really said much. I intended just to post the statistics, but I guess not.

What do we tell the soldiers? "Your sacrifice has been for nothing. You watched your comrades die for nothing. We're pulling out." Then Iraq falls or some other crazy shit happens in the Middle East, then we have to get involved again. And soon we'll be on the defensive, instead of on the offensive. Or is it wrong for me to assume that? I don't understand how people like Jackson can trust that terrorists won't attack us if we're nice to them. How we can trust terrorists, but not our leaders or ourselves. Back to the first point, I guess it's useless. If a new direction includes pulling out of Iraq now, I'm scared. Scared of a terrorist attack. But at least it's their problem now. And who's to stop them? They dishonored and wasted the sacrifices of 60,000 in Vietnam, who's to stop them from doing the same to 4000?

I'm upset. And I will be, until tomorrow. And Thursday. And until something goes wrong as a result of the Democrats. Well, something else.

But I'm happy, now that I think about it. So it's ok.

and pink, everything is going to be alright

Numbers

[mood: =o] [listening to: chopin]

Ah, i do love a good turnaround. But we'll see, right?

I can be direct.

But; i have lots of stuff to do. Not much else to say. Should be an interesting week. I've got stuff happening for the next seven days straight. And, i should go work. No lyrics today, just numbers.

Seven, Gabby's favorite number. She makes me smile. If i haven't said it yet. How's that for clarity?

Six, the number of things left on my list of homework things to do this morning.

Five, the number of speakers that should be working with the new reciever from my grandpa.

Four, the number of pieces of gum i had a while ago. A few hours ago, i think.

Three, the number of cups i've had so far. Of tea, that is.

Two, the amount of happy souls that will exist Friday. Two plus however many there are now, of course.

One, the amount of people that get to spend thursday alone in my house with me.

OMGBRRR

[mood: schm':((((((ish-y] [listening to: dcfc]

I have incredibly cold feet. I think they're about to fall off.

No, Mr. Veland, thats not some kind of metaphor. I'm damn freezing.

So went to Heidi's party last night. I drove. Indian River on the way to Courthouse Estates is one of the scariest roads at night. Maybe theres two feet between you and the car coming the other way and the ditch on your right.

Not as much of a turnout of little tykes (i.e., us) as some of the previous ones I've went to, but nonetheless it was pretty fun. I actually didn't think "so what kind of a dumbass am i going to be tonight to leave an impression?" i.e., just went with it. People sung karaoke... and I was scarred for life. Jovie and Heidi were freaking awesome, but then... Jeff and Giann went. "I'm Too Sexy," I believe, was their song. And. OMGBRRR.

I actually took video of them... but... I don't think I want to post it. You guys would be terrified.

  • Death by hanging. Thats the sentence Saddam Hussein received. I'm a bit late in this, but this is a large milestone in our history in Iraq. And whats more important?

  • Ted Haggard being a homosexual druggie. Here is a part of a documentary by a pro-science atheist questioning Haggard about why science pwnt faith. Some choice quotes taken out of context:
Haggard: "[laugh] Well I don't know anything about the Nuremberg rallies, but I know lots of Americans think of it as a rock concert."
Dawkins: "Thats the beauty of science, [new evidence is constantly changing our minds]. Whereas you have one book, which you say doesn't change. Thats not getting to think for themselves."
Haggard: "Your grandsons [...] might laugh at you."
Haggard: "Sir, there could be many things that you know well. There are other things that you don't know well. As you age, you'll find yourself wrong on some things, right on some other things. But please, in the process of it, don't be arrogant." [understood irony\

  • And since we're being so politically incorrect tonight, why don't we just play Sasha Cohen on TDS? Pretty funny. "So what punishments do you thinks they should gives suicide bombers?" Really interesting question. Discuss.

  • Whoops. Didn't mean to do that, now did I?

Illuminate the no's on the vacancy signs

[mood: schm':((((((ish] [listening to: dcfc]

What a conundrum I've gotten myself into. I'm going to be vague like Matt.

Have you ever went on vacation to somewhere else and only had 2 days to do 4 day's of work?

I suck at these things.

Facebook. Its better than Myspace.

  • LOST Theory Generator - With so many theories going around, who wants actual valid theories? This is so much more fun. What if Sayid were an Other? =o.

  • You guys wonder if you should drive a stick. Well, maybe this video of a kid crashing into a garage will persuade you. A 14 year old kid RAMS his dad's brand new $30K+ car into the garage. What a retard. Ignorance. Its the devil.

  • GTFO - In Europe, instead of having the bars at toll booths, they have poles coming out of the ground. Right when a car exits one, it comes back up. However, some people try not to pay and decide to see if they can outrun the roadblock... Eh. I bet you can predict what happens. You guys are smart enough.

[mood: alright] [thinking about: dasein]

And so typically.

This was supposed to be a post about my 42 dollar text bill and how fascinated ive been with paganini, but instead it became one of those posts.

You finally get what you want. But the process screwed up your desire, so you dont want it anymore.

You're just gone.

You've grown. Hopefully she will too.

Don't wait next time.

Continue doing the right thing. She has to learn sometime. And two benefit.

I'm so sorry, but I can't. This is the only way...

Maybe you'll understand what it's like for once.

I'm so sorry.

Change Your Mind
The All-American Rejects

Don't solve the problem
when danger is bitter
Far away will you stock them
in cages that tither

And all the bridges you've burned
leave you trapped off at all sides
Now the tables do turn
When it's all gone, what's left for you?

And when the sky is falling
don't look outside the window
Step back and hear I'm calling
Give up, don't take the fast road
It's just your doubt that binds you
Just drop those thoughts behind you now (now)
Change your mind, you let go to soon

Step down, you're sinking
There's no one to watch you
There's no one to stop you

And all the bridges you've burned
leave you trapped off at all sides
Now the tables do turn
When it's all gone, what's left for you?

And when the sky is falling
don't look outside the window
Step back and hear I'm calling
Give up, don't take the fast road
It's just your doubt that binds you
Just drop those thoughts behind you now (now)
Change your mind, you let go to soon

Don't run away, start feeling fine
It's better than your worst, your worst day
No words to say, I'll give you mine
and pocket all the hurt, just stay
Don't run away
It's better than your worst, your worst day

And when the sky is falling
don't look outside the window
Step back and hear I'm calling
Give up, don't take the fast road
